Pretend I Never Disappeared

Regaining Momentum

It’s always tough to pick up where I last left off. It has been suggested that I set off to battle said 26 5-year olds and that I was defeated. This was not the case. I survived, I battled, and I won. Between work, travel, and moving to a new apartment, it’s been much busier than I would have liked.

The major downside to every mega-patch with loads of content changes is the feeling of futility I get when playing WoW. 2.4 was a sort of killer for me. I saw so many desirable changes and interesting things that instead of wanting to get home and playing the existing game, I would much rather have just waited for 2.4 before getting back into it. And wait, I did.

Back in the Groove

This post is really two weeks late. I’ve been back in the game for two weeks and I’ve been getting used to my Warrior again. I recently dropped my S3 Sword for an S3 Mace. The major driving factor is my participating in 3v3 more often than 5v5. I haven’t done a 5v5 in almost 2 months now…

More on that in the future. =ERP=

    yay!

my warriors 70 now and i got the s1 mace while im undergeared, ill be focusing on mostly 2v2/3v3 and Battlegrounds, so should i go mace or sword? i really cant pick :o — my friend is 63 resto shaman coming up, so i was thinking sword.. heh. but you cant count enough times ive been undergeared (2 pieces of s1, 2 pieces of rep pvp gear, s1 mace) and beated a full s3/vindicator mutilate ORC rogue outside org in duelotar because of mace stun. HALP

Mace is still effective with a shaman partner. The Stun makes up for that 5% chance to attack again anyways (and even if they go immune, you still get +7 rage). I like to think that the Stun that I get from Mace (which doesn’t trigger DR on intercept’s stun) guarantees that I don’t miss critical moves.

It’s just icing on the cake when it procs at the right moment. It’s … a slight chance that the extra 5% seond attack was the determining factor between killing someone and not killing someone.

With the prevalance of runner-classes (Druid, Priests, Hunters), stunning people is seemingly more useful than getting a second attack in.

RIP Indeed. I’m trying to figure out what I should do with this page. Alas…I’m a level 18 Shaman on Shattered Hand now.
